Designing a trial version of a bedroom in the West 65 apartment was an exciting opportunity.We combined urban chic with comfort and a mid-century aesthetic.The client’s desire for an urban yet comfortable bedroom set the tone for the design direction. To achieve this, we incorporated elements of contemporary urban design such as clean lines, minimalist furniture and industrial accents.We drew inspiration from mid-century design, incorporating timeless elements that evoke a sense of nostalgia and sophistication.

The colour palette was carefully curated to reflect the urban environment while maintaining  a sense of warmth and comfort, with neutral tones such as warm greys, soft browns and creamy whites forming the base and providing a versatile backdrop for bolder accent colours. Furniture and accessories were made from natural materials such as wood and leather, with concrete used to add depth and texture to the space.

Incorporating thoughtful details was essential to achieving the desired aesthetic and enhancing the overall comfort of the bedroom. High quality bedding and linen was selected to create a luxurious feel. Statement lighting was incorporated to add visual interest.
